Our Mission
Kiddie-Kopia PreSchool believes in a unique environment in which
learning is fostered through symbolic play and literature for children
ages 2-6 years old. Our small class size is specifically designed to
promote social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language
development. The children are free to explore their environment
and in this process discover how it works. Creativity, risk taking,
problem solving and the development and use of new ideas are
encouraged. All children are treated with respect and dignity.
Using a Whole Language approach, monthly and weekly themes
are based on children's literature, including nursery rhymes,
poems, fairy tales, songs, Hooked on Phonics, classic and current
books. Whole Language teaches language skills through
combined reading, writing, and speaking activities. Therefore,
children learn to appreciate literature and find reading fun.
Our main concern is the individual child. We believe each child is a
unique person and needs praise and encouragement for his/her
growth each and every day. As a team with parents, we provide a
nurturing and positive environment for the children and families of
this community.
